Delete your data

Compliant with Meta's Data Deletion Callback requirements · GDPR Article 17 · CCPA

You have the right to permanently delete your Mora account and all associated data at any time. Choose the method that fits you.

Option 1 — In-app (fastest, signed in)

Sign in to www.morapost.com
Go to Settings → Account Settings
Scroll to the bottom and click Delete Account
Confirm the deletion. Your account and all data are removed within 30 days.

Option 2 — Request by form (no sign-in required)

If you cannot sign in, fill out the form below. We will verify ownership by emailing the address you provide; after you click the verification link your data will be deleted within 30 days.

Option 3 — Email

Send an email from your Mora account address to founder@morapost.com with subject “Delete my Mora account”. We respond within 72 hours and complete deletion within 30 days.

Option 4 — Removed Mora from Facebook / Instagram

If you removed the Mora app from your Facebook Settings (Settings & privacy → Apps and websites) or Instagram (Apps and websites), Meta automatically notified us. We have already begun deleting your data and you can verify the status with the confirmation code Meta showed you:

What gets deleted

Account profile (name, email, password hash, picture, settings)
All drafts, scheduled posts, and AI-generated content
All uploaded images and videos (purged from Cloudflare R2)
All connected-account tokens (OAuth credentials revoked, encrypted blob deleted)
Workspace, team members (if you are the only owner), referral data
Usage counters, notifications, session tokens

What does NOT get deleted (legal exception)

Financial records (invoices, payment receipts) — retained for 7 years for tax compliance
Aggregated, anonymized analytics with no personal identifiers — kept indefinitely
Audit logs related to security incidents — retained for the duration of any active investigation

How long deletion takes

Immediate: account and session tokens disabled (you cannot sign in anymore)
Within 24 hours: live data deleted from primary database and R2 storage
Within 30 days: rolling backups expire and your data is purged from them too
Within 30 days: subprocessors (Cloudflare, Supabase, Upstash) complete propagation of deletion
